I used The Pioneer Woman's recipe for this and boy was it gooood!! And you know what? It was super easy, too. MUCH easier than I thought it was going to be! The only issue I had was that it used a couple of ingredients I don't normally have on hand (like evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream) but I remembered to pick them up when I was at the store and I may be incorporating them into my weekly shopping list just for this cake!! Ha! If you've never made this kind of cake before, it is different than anything else. It's very spongy and moist-but not mushy, if that makes sense. You really need to try it. Plus, it has homemade whipped cream, so you know it's not bad. And please, PLEASE, whatever you do, do NOT use Cool Whip for this!!!!!! Promise me!!!
